Welcome Message

Welcome to the Saint John AME  Church website. I am glad you have chosen to spend a few moments discovering our church and our family of worshippers. Describing St. John  as a community or family is core to our mission as believers in Christ. As the motto of the African Methodist Episcopal Church proclaims: “God Our Father, Christ Our Redeemer, the Holy Spirit Our Comforter, Humankind Our Family.”  Locally, we activate our faith through the theme: “The Place of Divine Possibilities.”

​Simply put, we are a group of people committed to serving Jesus. That means we worship with expectation and joy, we rely on  prayer and  Bible teaching to enable expressions of love in and outside the church through compassionate service, inclusion and giving.

​Our hope is that you will feel welcomed and experience the love of Christ at Saint John Church. Please come and join us in seeking  God’s presence and power.

​While you are browsing our website, you will learn about the ministries and get a glimpse of  how we serve the kingdom of God. To experience and learn more please come to one of our scheduled  worship services or Bible studies  and feel the up-close, in-person fellowship and love that comes when people share together under the presence of the Holy Spirit.
